On this week-long itinerary around Morocco, you’ll spend time in stunning imperial cities, go camping in the Merzouga desert and see the finest of Moroccan architecture.
Your journey will begin in the vibrant city of Marrakesh, where you&ll roam through local souks and visit the ornate Bahia Palace. You’ll continue driving through the scenic High Atlas Mountains before enjoying a dramatic sunset overlooking the golden sand dunes. On your way back to Marrakesh you’ll pass by the famous Todra Gorge and the Dades Valley, known for their rugged landscapes. This Morocco desert tour is perfect for those looking to experience the rich culture and incredible landscapes all in one place.

DAY 1 - CASABLANCA - MARRAKECH
Arrive at Casablanca airport. Meet your driver-guide and follow him on a photographic (photo stop) visit to Casablanca – “The White City”
including a stop at Hassan II Mosque exterior).
Time for lunch on your own and then departure to
Marrakech. Overnight at the hotel. 2
DAY 2 - MARRAKECH
The day is dedicated to the discovery of the Red
imperial city « Marrakech la Rouge » with a local
guide. We will visit the Koutoubia, the Bahia
Palace. The visit will continue with the Saadian
Tombs and also visit the Menara Gardens. Free
time for lunch (not included). Continuation
towards the famous square, Jema El Fna, and a
walk through the various souks (markets) to see
all kinds of wonders for sale. Return to the hotel
to get ready for a traditional Moroccan dinner
followed by a show at “Chez Ali” complex located
in the suburb of Marrakesh (Optional). Back to
hotel for overnight. 3
DAY 3 - MARRAKECH – AIT BENHADDOU - OUARZAZATE
After Breakfast, depart for Ouarzazate, through
the High Atlas Mountains, passing through Tizen Tichka
(2260m). Photo stop at the Kasbah d’Ait Ben
Haddou, classified as a UNESCO world heritage
site. Dinner and accommodation at the hotel. 4
DAY 4 - OUARZAZATE - TINEGHIR – GORGES DE TODRA– MERZOUGA
After breakfast, depart to Merzouga and stop at
the Kasbah of Taourir to take pictures. Continue
towards Tineghir by crossing Skoura, Kelaa
M’Gouna (the city of roses), Dades Valley and
Todra Gorge with its cliffs of over 300 meters in
height, and the discovery of Palmeraie de Jorf
oasis. Stop en route for lunch (not included). Once
you reach Erfoud, you will transfer to a 4X4 vehicle
to cross the majestic dunes. Enjoy a camel ride
from Merzouga to the Nomad Camp in the Sahara
on time for the beautiful sunset. Dinner and

DAY 5 - MERZOUGA - MIDELT – FES
After breakfast, departure to Fez. This full day of
travel will make you cross vast landscapes. Stop
for lunch in Midelt (not included). Continuation
towards Fes by crossing Ifrane and the high Atlas.

DAY 6 - FES
The entire day is dedicated to Fez, Morocco’s
holy city. You will visit its historical center
including the Andalusian neighborhood, El Bali
Palace, the Nejjarine fountain, Karaouyine
Mosque and Madrasa Bou Inania. Free time
for lunch and continuation of the visit
including the souks and the district of the
leather tanners. Back to the hotel.

DAY 7 - FES – MEKNES - CHEFCHAOUEN
After breakfast, we travel in the direction of
Chefchaouen, passing by Meknes, the imperial city
also called « The Moroccan Versailles ». Arrival in
Volubilis, entrance included, and visit on your own
the roman ruins site is classified as a UNESCO world
heritage site. Continuation towards the blue city,
nestled in the Rif Mountains, Chefchaouen with its
compact medina washed in blue and topped with
red-tiled roofs, is quite simply one of the loveliest
towns in the country. Free time to explore further.
Dinner and accommodation. 8
DAY 8 - CHEFCHAOUEN – TETOUAN – TANGER
After breakfast, en route for Tangier, via Tetouan.
Upon arrival enjoy a photographic (photo stop)
tour of the city and Tangier Kasbah. Rest of the
day at leisure to visit Tangier’s market.
Accommodation at the hotel. 9
DAY 9 - TANGIER – RABAT – CASABLANCA
After breakfast, depart for Rabat for 2 hours
guided visit to the capital of Morocco including
the fortifications, the Hassan Tower, Mohamed
V Mausoleum, the Royal Palace and Kasbah of
Oudayas. Once the visit is over, departure to
Casablanca. Back to the hotel for accommodation 10
DAY 10 - CASABLANCA – DEPARTURE
After Breakfast, we will head to the airport.
